Building and Installing a Barred Owl Box: A Father-Son DIY Adventure We have seen a barred Owl hanging around our house just outside the window several times in the past few weeks. To keep it hanging around we decided we would build a nesting box for the barred owl, I did a bit of research and it turns out you need to have the nesting boxes out by the end of January Since we are still about mid...

So just enjoy watching us build the climbing dome! A special shot out to my brother who randomly showed up and gave me a hand putting this thing together, I couldn't...

Also, can you do this by removing the pin while the bracket is still attached to the door? If so, this would eliminate the problem of not getting the bracket back in exactly the right position since it would remain attached. Or would it not be possible to line the new roller up well enough with the bracket to reattach it with the pin?
Will this repair work on an automatic sliding door or would that be different?
Thank you for the exceptional video, I know it had to have saved me from atleast a minor headache if not more!
Why not jump power from original outlets with a pig tail?
Good job Dad. ❤️👍🙏🇺🇲✌️😎
DID YOU GROUND THE BOX
DID YOU GROUND THE BOX
Thank You. Fishing line was a great tip. I used weed trimmer line to help pull it through
I wonder if Waterlox (a varnish made with Tung Oil) would be a better choice. I finished a solid Teak shower stool in 4 coats of Tung Oil, then Waterlox because of the extremely wet location. It still looks beautiful and like when I finished it 3 years or so ago. I’m thinking of combining Tung Oil with oil stain after applying a pre-stain sealer on a fireplace mantel. Any thoughts on that?
As a widow this was wonderful. The only hard part is putting the cable back in. We discovered that the instructions should include using baby vice grips to pull the cable to get enough slack to insert the small cylinder. We really struggled for at least 30 minutes before we figured this out
How do you determine the length of the slow air chamber (SAC)? I’ve seen in a number of NA style flutes where the length of this chamber is at least 5 inches going to up 8 inches in many designs. You seemed to have chosen 2-3 inches, is this a standard for PVC flutes?
Can you use that bottle cutter to cut the bottle in half length wise?
The whole reason I needed this video was loosen the slack on the cable and unfortunately, you don’t show that .
How high is the room's ceiling?
Very helpful! Thank you!
Do you need to do anything else to tow? Like transmission cooler? Brake light harness?
This helped me disconnect the cables for the doors on both of my minivans and turn them back into manual doors. I hope your automatic door systems last longer than mine did!
Just wondering what you did specifically to turn them into manual doors again? After disconnecting cables did you remove them or just cut them off?
Heu mate, im having problems in my series 3, too. It looked like it had water running through the probe cabe and rusted the connections. The probe works but doesnt read the temperature properly. What was the problem with your probe?
dieselpunk
Thanks AJ
Are you serious you've got to be joking
By the way, you can order the electric door roller part for an Odyssey with a manual door. It's a lower priced part and it works perfectly well. It has a couple of loops to accommodate the motor cable, but they are just ignored for the manual door.
Don’t hire black guys
The guy makes it look easy What he don't tell you is those two little screws that hold the probe in if they've been in for a while they could be rusted or stubborn and there are tiny it could make for a job.
Thanks for your help today, A.J. Remember that God loves you, A.J. and He wants you to love Him, too. This is very important!
You really didn’t show this example that good because you never showed your side when you was leveling that surface!!
Didn’t see the e link to the hatch
bolts would be more secure if you didnt tap the holes
Ill have to disagree with you on that one. If its too rusted, like it was in my case you can have the bolt break off while trying to tighten it down if you put too much tension on it. In my opinion its a lot better to tap the hole and not risk the bolt breaking off because that will cause a much bigger headache.
Question???? Instead of splicing the old ground with the new one to make it longer, why don't you just unscrew on of the black screws holding the black box on and put the ground wire there?
For the hole, I just took the plunge and rented a hammer drill with a 4" coring bit from Home Depot. It did the job well, especially since I had a deeper wall to drill through.
I had a Green Mountain that was perfect, several years of trouble free service, my Pit Boss Vertical Pro has been a piece of Hunter Biden
Wrong: No chemichals / pain or other inside bat houses... is toxic.
Let me share with your viewers another video which shows how to do the replacement without removing the door pane: “Replace Toyota Corolla side mirrors…Easy Way!” By Engineerd Mojo. He works with Toyota Corolla as well.
You know your camera is too low and we can’t see part of your job.
Awesome and thank you
Im glad I could help!
This was very helpful. Your tips helped me fix my unit today. Appreciate it!
I'm glad I could help!
I'm not sure if you check messages anymore, but what what did you use for the stem? Oak like the bowl? And did you soak the wood before clamping? Thanks
Yes I used oak for the stem as well, I didn't soak it before clamping it or anything. It would defiantly help if your worried about the wood cracking. But I used thin pieces of wood for this on because they would bend with out breaking too easily
In Spanish: se puede lijar los cantos de los pétalos con lija para metal?
I wish I had watched this earlier. I just finished disassembling and replacing the guts of my Pitt Boss Copperhead. The control panel, the heat element, and probes. After I was finished I noticed and extra part in the new box of guts. Hmmm? What's this? It was the thermostat. It would have been so much easier to replace when I had the smoker on it's side and dissembled. I am hoping the old one will still work after polishing it up because there ain't no way this 73 year old weakling woman is going to do that job again lol.
Well I hope your pit boss is back in working order! I hope this video gave you some insight if you end up having to replace anything in the future!
Great video buddy I appreciate it
Yes sir! Thank you for the comment!
The only issue is that I see is the 45 degree angle handle. It will make you bend over more when prying. Perhaps, a 22.5 or 15 degree angle would be more suitable, if you really want an angle on your “pallet buster”. 🤷♂️
That might help out, But honestly mine works pretty well like it is, My only problem with it is how heavy it is lol. It comes in handy sometimes but after using it for a while it wears you out lol
Wow awesome been lookin awhile for someone that has the same problem thks for sharing your ideas with us ya got this thks from Canada 🇨🇦 SK later makes toys easier to build 😊
Glad I could help
did you do anything with the blue wire before installing the back plate onto the wall? Should one cover the live wire?
How did you know the temp probe was the cause of your erl code? As soon as I turn my unit on, it gives me the ERL code, and won't let me do anything.
To be honest, I called the pit boss help line and they told me it was either the temp probe or the control unit, They sent me both since it was still under warranty, but they arrived about a week apart so I ended up making two different videos for it. So moral of the story is, be prepared to buy both because apparently they don't even know how to tell which on is the problem lol
That's funny, because I had replaced the main control unit already, so they sent me the temp probe, and that ended up being the fix. Mine was years out of warranty as well BTW. So props to Pit Boss for still taking care of me.
@@billhill5181 Hey that's awesome! I'm glad they still took care of you!
Thank you!
You're welcome! Thank you so much!
Thanks for showing how to change my old thermostat in my home.I will be watching more of Your videos for sure AJ.
Glad to help! Thank you for the comment!
Distance from 1st hole to 2nd , 3rd, 4th_5, 6hole
Its all in the video description!
You are the best !!! I have saved hundreds of dollars with the mechanic; It's a matter of patience, nice video and thanks a million
Great to hear! I'm glad I could help!
I learned that the glass is on top. I always thought the slate was on top. I want to try to make one of these.
Actually, while doing my research for these before making them I found out that you can use any combination of slate, glass and metal in any order that you want, It will effect the sound and some people like one method more than others. So basically it all comes down to personal preference.
Great instructions. Thank you💯👍🏽👍🏽
Glad it was helpful!
